Sudden Storm (驟雨, Shūu) is the 74th chapter of the Vagabond manga series.
Summary[]
As Inshun continues to project out of his body, he sees his physical body laying on the forest floor and asks himself "Am I to remain... alone forever...?".
Suddenly, a storm erupts and rain begins to pour. Musashi then begins hearing a voice telling him his swordsmanship is awful. As he looks around to see who said the comment, he sees no one and predicts that it's Inshun speaking to him telepathically. Everyone including Musashi have believe that Inshun has died from the duel that took place.
As it continues to rain and the campfire fizzles out, Musashi asks Inei if he hates him for what he's done to Inshun. Inei states that this is what Inshun wanted: to experience mortal combat. Inei further states that Inshun was discouraged from the spear but rather than play with toys, Inshun instead played with the spear. This passion and love for the spear made Inshun incredibly gifted and by age 15 he was the strongest fire and at present, is the Second Generation Master of the Hozoin Temple.
The story then cuts back to when Musashi beat Inshun to death and proceeds to ask if he's won the duel, much to Inei and Agons shock. Agon responds saying that its a tie if the previous match was counted as well and Inei requests that the duel not be entered into the records of the Hozoin Temple.
