Seijuro Yoshioka (
Appearance[]
Seijuro looks much younger than his age and has a feminine face. He has long hair parted in the middle and tied in the back. He is almost always seen wearing a yukata with a katana and wakizashi tied to the side of his hip.
Personality[]
Seijuro has a carefree personality, and he prefers to visit his lover Akemi at the brothel or play around with girls than take responsibility for the Yoshioka school. Due to his carefree personality, he is also often seen drinking. Seijuro is also in love with Akemi and wishes to marry her one day. Nevertheless, despite his outer devil-may-care impression, he is proven incredibly loyal to his family and students. Behind the scenes, he actively eliminates whoever poses a significant threat to his brother and disciples, using any methods available and disregarding his samurai's honor.
Biography[]
Seijuro is the eldest son of Yoshioka Kempo and brother of Denshichiro Yoshioka. At a young age, he was considered an incredibly skilled swordsman and a prodigy, with Inshun Hozoin stating that Seijuro was his equal in duelling. After his father's death, Seijuro inherited the Yoshioka School and was the head. However, it was a title he never wanted. Seijuro doesn't take his responsibilities seriously and instead visits prostitutes and drinks. The responsibilities of the Yoshioka School are instead given to Denshichiro.
Yoshioka School Arc[]
When Musashi visits the Yoshioka School, he challenges Seijuro, but Seijuro doesn't accept. Seijuro says that if Musashi were to fight him, he would die. Musashi fights all the other Yoshioka students so he can later fight Seijuro.
Once Matahachi finds out that a man is fighting the Yoshioka School, he gets curious and enters the school. Matahachi burns a large portion of the school in a drunken state. When Seijuro finds out that the school is on fire, he is shocked and tells the students to prevent the fire from spreading.
Second Yoshioka School Arc[]
When Musashi arrives in Kyoto again, he sees that Denshichiro has challenged him to a duel, and he accepts. Seijuro stalks Musashi while he is in Kyoto and states that Musashi has changed and grown a lot. Seijuro challenges Musashi to a duel and is cut in half by Musashi. As an act of revenge, his lover Akemi stabs Musashi later on.

He is an incredibly talented swordsman that Inshun finds to be his equal.
